20 Inches or Less: Our bicycles are designed around one simple idea: make them really really fun.
An idea that inspired our very first bikes in 1887 and continues to inspire how we do things today.
After-all, fun makes people happy. And that’s something we proudly stand behind.

Our original store is still getting tons of butts on bikes. The big metal warehouse building (you can probably guess where we got our name from) has become a familiar sight along Interstate 5 in Pacific Beach to nearly everyone in San Diego County.

We’ve grown a lot with a bunch of stores and other related businesses in our portfolio now, but our mission is the same “to inspire your passion to ride so you enjoy more fitness, freedom and fun”.

With both Mike and Debbe back and fully engaged in the business, the couple is making moves to create the next phase of Bicycle Warehouse: telling the story of their business through the experiences of their customers, their employees and even themselves. Through videos, photography and journalistic storytelling, Bicycle Warehouse has started to come to life in a contextual way that goes beyond selling bikes—it’s selling a way of life.

This digital media shift is already beginning to pay off, says Debbe. “It’s only been five months and I’ve already noticed a significant difference in sales and in engagement. People are asking more questions, sharing our posts and watching our videos. The numbers are growing.”

Do what you love and love what you do” has served us well. We come to work every day excited about getting you on a bicycle and having some fun. We are proud to be a local family owned & operated company.

Give us a shout directly if you ever have any feedback for us. We love hearing about the good stuff and the stuff that needs improvement. Hearing from you is the only way we can get better at what we do.

Along with our awesome crew we look forward to serving you soon.

Cheers

David & Mike Simmons
